In the upcoming Seanad general election Sinn Féin will instruct its Councillors and TDs to vote for Fianna Fáil candidates in many of the panels (constituencies). I wonder whats happening with the worlds oil supplies. Some people say we've reached the peak other say in 30 years we will reach it. When peak oil has been reached then we start extracting the stuff thats more difficult to extract. I came across this short documentary about the Alberta oil sands in Canada. For those not familiar with the acronym ‘KISS’, it expands to, “Keep It Simple Stupid”! The KISS (K) principle was/is the most invaluable teaching/training aid in the IT industry, especially in the early days when people actually feared the ‘complexity’ of computers. Anyone who is confronted by an overwhelming amount of ‘information’ tends to lose themselves in a sea of confusion.
