One of the world's best known investigative reporters, Seymour Hersch, is revealing in the next issue of The New Yorker magazine that Bush & co are actively planning a major air attack on Iran and that; one of the military’s initial option plans, as presented to the White House by the Pentagon this winter, calls for the use of a bunker-buster tactical nuclear weapon, such as the B61-11, against underground nuclear sites. One target is Iran’s main centrifuge plant, at Natanz, nearly two hundred miles south of Tehran. Hello from Guatemala. I am forwarding the article written by Sandra, she contacted me recently during my stay in Guatemala. If any of you took part of the presentation of the book "Fumigation: the human and environmental costs of chemical warfare in Colombia" last October in Trinity the following article will make sense. I have seen the mentioned plantations in San Marcos and i believe that the the propossal fumigations here is going to finish with the farmers livelihoods and other plantations. I have been following close the case of the Mining company and there is a great video for anybody in Ireland interested to watch about the consultation propossed by the Indigenous people about the mining. read full story / add a comment
