Calling Trump a dictator is just silly, says Prof James Allan. Yes, he's bombastic. But he's been elected to secure the border and drain the swamp. And he is the President, in whom all executive authority resides.

I am defending myself.
This hearing, a continuation from 4th Sept, will presumably take all day and the case may not be concluded.

The garda officers who made statements and whom the prosecution side does not wish to call in evidence have been sub-poenaed by me to appear tomorrow as witnesses on my behalf.

It seems to shaping up into an interesting case. Full report on legal issues will follow after it's over.
All are welcome to attend. read full story / add a comment

Anyone able to cast their mind back over the Robocop film franchise should be able to recall the many Omni Consumer Product ads featured in the film with their distinct dystopian undertones amidst a sea of promise. A similar style of ad has been circulating on the Irish inter-web as a viral video. Produced by the 'multi-disciplined, multi- talented' Wasaki Global Corporation it details the plans to build three islands off the coast of Dublin, complete with a replica Howth, 42,000 flats, 3 golf courses, several motor-ways and a giraffe only zoo. Yeah right says you., next they'll try and resurrect Atlantis. Word on the blogosphere would suggest that it's the work of an ad agency called Chemistry who conceived it as a stunt to launch new property website Funda Ireland. Clever bastards, eh? Well clever enough to take in a certain Labour politician on Morning Ireland earlier today. read full story / add a comment

7th of October 06: Transnational Actionday against migration-control

One year after the escalations in Ceuta and Melilla a broad network of Migration related initiatives call for freedom of movement in a transnational day of action. In dozens of cities in Europe and also in Africa manifestations and demonstrations are in preparation for 7th of October. It was decided to organize such a day of migration-related actions at the European Social Forum in May 2006, when about 15.000 people from different social movements met in Athens. read full story / add a comment

SEPTEMBER 2006.

To show our support for the SHAC 7 in USA we destroyed over 70 advertising signs for the Courtney Vegas so called 'American' circus from Wexford in Ireland. This circus now in Balgriffin uses animals in its acts and we have vowed to continue removing their advertising until they stop dragging animals around Ireland.

Two MEAT RETAILER directional signs were taken and butchered in retaliation for the dead animals slaughtered for profit and sold in his shop in Dublin.

The one glaring undeniable fact regarding the Bush administration is the fact that they have failed in ALL their endeavours – in other words they have done nothing right. The latest display of neo-con ineptitudes by John Bolton and Condoleezza Rice regarding their tactical inaction during the conflict in South Lebanon reveals the essential ideology/philosophy of the neo-cons – not only [to], ‘GIVE WAR A CHANCE; but also, WAR IS THE ANSWER’!
