Is Rishi Sunak English? Prof Eric Kaufmann says yes, by nationality, but not by ethnicity. It's a subject that typically produces more heat than light, but that's because people don't pin down their terms.

pat kenny has just repeated the notion ,live on air ,that the catholic workers assaulted a guard last monday in Shannon Airport. He had a panel of supposed 'media experts' on with him, discussing the weeks news .This included former minister for justice and PD leader Des O Malley - a Limerick man! I rang in , tried to inform the person answering the phone about the fact that his claim of assault was wrong, but he (Kenny) didn't retract his statement. This guy has researchers working for him! He earrns something like 1/2 million euro a year (correct me if I'm wrong on that figure) to be an accurate and competent broadcaster ,and still ,almost a week later, him ,and his panel of experts claim that a panic attack by a garda is in fact an assault by a pacifist. read full story / add a comment

There are all kinds of electrical activity in the upper atmosphere (for Ray: at-MUH-sphere). In particular there is a layer known as the ionosphere (i-ON-uh-sphere). It is called the ionosphere for a reason because it is the home of electrically charged particles. Sprites and elves flit about the ionosphere waiting for space shuttles and such. Columbia even photographed some during its mission. Then again Ray wouldn't know an elf from a sprite if one came up and zapped him up the ass. read full story / add a comment

The counterculture creeps who were so brave attacking US property in Shannon were not long running away from Shannon when lawful force was threatened against them. They remind me of the same kind of groups such as the Sexual freedom League, the Hippies and timothy Leary and his drug fiends who 'bravely' opposed brave US and other GI's fighting against 'Uncle' Ho Chi Mihn in Vietnam. 'Uncle' Ho was a worse sob than Saddam is. These assholes used to spread defeatism all around Berkley untill we shot a couple of them. The home grown ones are undermining confidence in the USA and Mr Ahern has shown what using a firm hand can do to shut them up. He should have done this weweks ago and our plane would be in the gulf now. Mr Ahern should follow up his successful firm tactics by ending Irish Neutrality so that young Irish guys read full story / add a comment
