We already have, what has quick become, an iconic image of where much of the feelings in Brazil rest at present. Brazilian artist Paulo Ito posted this mural on the doors of a schoolhouse in São Paulo’s Pompeia a few weeks ago. read full story / add a comment

Paul Craig Roberts was an insider in the US government for years so he knows how things really work and what the real motivations and driving forces are for geopolitical actions on the world stage. Don't believe the propaganda guff from your TV news. In this article Paul lays bare in simple terms what's actually going on in Ukraine, with Russia, the G7 and the US, and he lays bare the lies propagated about the role of the US in the second world war and the deliberately sidelined but crucial role of 27 million russians who sacrificed their very lives to defeat Nazi Germany, versus only 450,000 US soldiers read full story / add a comment

After the local elections the plan is back in a lightly tweaked form, with the developer's sister among a number of newly elected councillors supporting the project. read full story / add a comment |
