Minister for the Environment, John Gormley, wants to nominate the Hill of Tara to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. But he is happy to allow the M3 motorway to be constructed through the middle of the site. Help us lobby the Irish branch of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) , and demand that the M3 be rerouted away from the Tara complex, before it is declared a World Heritage Site. read full story / add a comment |
