This other press text lets you the aware reader see the declaration which kicked off the 2007 state of Emergency in Pakistan. It's a great little number which has already spawned a comprehensive encyclopedia page on English language wikipedia & means that the chances of numerous intelligent young Pakistani or Pakistani looking people, or even intelligent older people with Pakistani surnames getting their blogs noticed or opinions published are very good. It's great to be Pakistani. General Musharraf reckons his is the way to preserve that greatness whilst other worthy Pakistani politicians are coming out of the exile woodwork to volunteer to take him on.
