One of the most serious issues of European exploitation, corrupt Charity activity & international relations Monday last saw Sarkozy play his "Super Sarko" role in a headline grabbing stunt the reaction to which has already bolstered calls for November 30th to be declared "No Sarko in Media Day". The government of Chad (in Africa) has started taking against so-called "charity" agencies who are accused of trafficking in children by arranging their adoption by European parents without the consent of their natural parents or surviving family or wards. This is a very big story which touches many other very important issues. In the last week both French & Spanish citizens were held in Chad under charges of "child-trafficking". The Spaniards included pilot, co-pilot and cabin crew of the jet on which the children would have been flown out of the state by the "Zoe's Ark" charity.

I went to Shannon airport at about 8.15 am this morning.
Today was another “quiet” day at Shannon. There are more Ryanair flights, but far fewer other civilian flights including Aer Lingus, other long haul tourist or business flights. However, US military and CIA flights are continuing at a high level. read full story / add a comment

2001 Genova G8: We are history! - call to mobilization november 17th 2007

It's been years we have asked everybody to take responsibility as
collectively as possible for what the mobilizations against G8 in Genoa
were.
The arrogance of Genoa prosecutors during the final speech of their
accusation in the court case against 25 protestors accused of devastation
and sacking seems to have eventually aroused the hearts and brains of
300000 people that in Genoa opposed themselves to the politics of the G8. read full story / add a comment

On the 04/09/07 there was a press release detailing a possible mis-diagnosis problem in relation to the mammogram service at Portlaoise Hospital, the press release said that there were possibly 5,000 women effected and there was no press release from Mary Harney's Department. The Hospital board and the HSE managed the timed release of materials including the fact that many of the patients had been on the Treatment Purchase Fund Scheme. This info emanated in the direct aftermath of Ms Harney's travelling to Barrington's Hospital in Cork where up to 1,000 women were similarly effected. Today there is a press release from DOHC which is written in response to emergent details of 8 women with a diagnosis of cancer who had been cleared and 19 awaiting second opinions.

Ireland, shamefully, criminally, continues to turn the blind eye to the blatant CIA ferrying of "Terrorist" suspects through Shannon Airport for detention and torture abroad, as such, due to the presence of Kathleen M. O'Toole, Chief Inspector of the Garda Inspectorate at the Céifin Centre's 2007 Conference in the West County Hotel, Limerick Road, Ennis, anti-war activists will be protesting against this country's and its spineless Garda hirelings, collusion with the US on Extraordinary Rendition . read full story / add a comment

Last Wednesday the Tehran regime marked Halloween with some more union bashing. Ebrahim Madadi’s, vice-president of the Trade Union in the Tehran Vahed Bus Company, was sentenced to two years in jail. Mr. Madadi was tried on the allegation of acting against “national security”. I guess they really mean that unions make the Iran bosses feel insecure. read full story / add a comment

The Lisbon Treaty is at this time according to the Irish Times, 'In doubt' due to a big drop off
in support for the re-negotiated Reform Treaty which sees the EU member states dropping
the article on rights (article 3.3) and retaining for the most part the main body of the rejected
Nice II Treaty. The next thing on the EU agenda is a meeting with the African nations in Lisbon
toward the end of the year which aims to set in pace the economic architecture for further
bi-laterals and free trade agreements which undercut these nations and have brought
quality of life issues into the community airwaves and NGO's;-
