Intransigence must be met with increased pressure" : When Obama opined those sweet words during his acceptance speech of the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, they seemed to be crafted with Israel in mind, but not a whit, just another Orwellian baa from the wolf dressed in sheep's clothing, yet more Prozac to keep us standing idly by in a soothing semantic haze marvelling at the Imperor's new clothes and his committment for exacting a "real price" for Iran's pursuit of nuclear power for peaceful purposes - nuclear "obliteration" perhaps.? The Minister for the Environment Mr. John Gormley was today urged to immediately suspend the licence he granted earlier in the autumn to the Ward Union Stag Hunt following a serious incident last Friday when a deer being hunted by the Ward Union was chased onto the main road between Ashbourne and Slane. The deer, which was hit by an on-coming Mercedes, was seriously injured and had to be put down at the scene. It had been seen exiting Seamus Dardis’s farm having begun its chase from Huntsman Pat Coyles premises. read full story / add a comment
