Responding to the call from the Irish Anti-War Movement for a blockade of Shannon Warport this Saturday December 6th, Dublin Grassroots is running a bus from Dublin to Shannon leaving from Liberty Hall at 9am. By adding our numbers and our experience of Non-Violent Direct Action we hope to assist in ensuring the effectiveness of the blockade. Our actions will be organised non-hierarchically. Santry Anti bin tax Campaign Yesterday, Sunday, the 23rd, the newly formed Santry Anti bin tax Campaign with assistance of Anti bin tax activists from Finglas, Navan Road/Dunard Road/Cabra and Ballybough disrupted Taoiseach Ahern as he was speaking at the launch of the Saint Vincent De Paul's annual "Giving At Christmas" appeal in the Omni Park shopping centre, Santry.
