BP at last responds to Gulf of Mexico disaster
As public fury mounts over what has been described as America’s worst ever environmental disaster , BP buys top search results for terms like “oil spill” from both Google and Yahoo.
According to this Daily Telegraph report a search for the term "oil spill" on Tuesday night brought up a link to BP's website with the tagline: “Learn more about how BP is helping.”

It's at the top of the Yahoo search results right enough. It does not seem to figure in Google at all.
BP may be responsible but ultimately the customer always pays.
But it couldn't happen here.I know, cos I'm old enough to remember them saying that about Whiddy Island. And that never happened.Well not in Shellmullet.
Necessity is not the Mother of Invention.
Desperation is the real Mother of Invention.
(Which is why WW2 spawned new inventions so dramatically.)
The situation in the Gulf of Mexico is desperate.
That is a good signpost towards New Clean Technologies.
.
I found this competition http://www.logomyway.com/contestView.php?contestId=1746 to re-design the BP logo
So I did
Unfortunately this re-Design was eventually deemed 'not Relevant' by contest organisers :)
