Israel forces attack Freedom Gaza flotilla - Activists critically injured

category international | crime and justice | news report author Monday May 31, 2010 04:54author by Watcher Report this post to the editors

Israel attacks humanitarian flotilla bound for Gaza in international waters.

Reports coming in over stream are saying the Israeli army have fired lives rounds, used tear-gas and stun grenades on unarmed civilians killing an unconfirmed number of people and injuring at least 30

In the last hour, Israeli forces attacked the Freedom Flotilla humanitarian aid convoy headed towards the Gaza Strip. The convoy was, however, still in international waters.

Live ammunition from Israeli helicopters was fired at the six boats comprising the Flotilla. In the surprise attack at night, five of six ships were boarded by Israeli naval units. 2 people are reported to be dead and at least thirty injured.
