Protest for Connolly Shoes Strikers- Dún Laoghaire

Connolly the Boss-'He's as low as a snake's belly and you can't get any lower than a snake's belly'.

Retail workers have been on strike at Connolly Shoes in Dún Laoghaire for 8 weeks now.

Between the four strikers they have delivered 110 years service to Connolly shoes and the people of Dún Laoghaire.

Mandate have added to the number of rallies and intitiatives to support them by organising and leafleting mandate members in the area and beyond to show solidarity and raise the issues of standing up and fighting against greedy employers.

Protest took place lunchtime Friday afternoon 21 May 2010.
