At Dunsland Garden Centre, Glanmire
a guided garden walk around Dunsland Garden Centre, Glanmire, hosted by Peter Dowdall starting at 11am, followed by a seedling swap.
All welcome!
Directions to Dunsland Graden centre:
The easiest way is by car, there's not really any easy way by bus without walking for about 2 miles after you get off the bus, but the train to Little Island stops about a mile and a half away so people could get that. You'd get off at Little Island, walk out onto the road (which is a busy main road) and turn left. Then walk until you reach the roundabout, take the 2nd exit, then next right opposite the old IBIS hotel, right again and then left.
Here's the directions by car:
Take Waterford road (N25) east from Cork city. Go straight through the first roundabout at Lota, passing the exit for Glanmire on your left. Take the first exit off the N25, signposted for Dublin and the tunnel. Take the 2nd exit off this roundabout, heading for Waterford/Rosslare.
Almost immediately, take the first exit off the N25 for Little Island and/or Glounthaune (R623). At the next roundabout, take the first exit, and you will be passing an old IBIS hotel on your left. Take the right turn immediately opposite the IBIS (the garden centre is sign-posted from here), right again and then left into the Garden Centre.
