'Bloody Sunday' picket , GPO Dublin , Sat 30 Jan 2010 , 12 Noon - 2pm.
Hi !
RSF had a very successful two-hour protest in Dublin city centre today , to mark the 38th Anniversary of the Westminster-ordered 'Bloody Sunday' massacre in Derry , in 1972.
One thousand eight hundred 'Bloody Sunday' information leaflets (in 'packs/booklets' of 3) were distributed , about 50 people took part and over 100 'Saoirse' newspapers were sold.
More information , and a few pictures , can be viewed at the 'Related Link' below.
Thanks!
Sharon.
(Post Script: a big 'Go Raibh Maith Agat' to this site , 'Indymedia.ie' , as a photojournalist from Demotix.com covered the RSF event for her Editor , having seen same advertised on this site!)
