Irish workers, unemployed and public service users are facing savage attacks on living standards by the Fianna Fail, Green Party and Mary Harney coalition. They want to take 4 billion off public sector workers and services, cut social welfare topay for the bad debts incurred by a failed banking system.

The Irish Congress of Trades Unions called a demonstration on November 6th 2009 to demand a fairer and better way. Tens of thousand of workers demonstrated all over Ireland.
