This new Comhlámh course is aimed at anyone who is interested in global development and who wants to work for a better world in Ireland. This includes those who have experience working or volunteering overseas and want to:
Explore that experience and how to use it as a springboard for continuing their involvement in working for a better world;
Continue to support the people they have met and worked with while overseas;
Consider and discuss how to make lifestyle choices based on their principles and values.
Three practical and participatory workshops aim to provide you with the skills to identify your knowledge about and opinion on development issues,
to write about and present your overseas experiences to a variety of audiences,
to use images and create videos,
to influence the media,
and to get involved in campaigns and solidarity work.
Other interests will be covered dependent on the interests of the participants.
