INFO:
ELDER ROCHE
He is an Irish songwriter who has been playing since the age of eleven. During his career he has shared the stage with many of Ireland’s well-knows, such as Paddy Casey, Damien Rice, Juno Falls, Juliet Turner and Damien Dempsey, to name a few. HOTPRESS states about his latest single DIAMOND: “Ireland has a new singer songwriter to be reckoned with!”; while MIXTAPE/2UIBESTOW awarded him as their RUBY TUESDAY ARTIST, adding that: “Elder Roche has shown massive potential with his debut album 'Nobody Knows'. You can't but hear Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen influences, but this is a fine true folk troubadour”. Indeed, his way of playing reveals the old manner of theatrical storytelling as his name “Elder” also suggests.

MONICA HARKIN
As the main songwriter, Monica's style can be described as soft jazz with a touch of folk. Her unique voice and intuitive approach to song structures and timing have produced a collection of songs that are diverse in sound but united in intrigue and charm. An accomplished backing band provides captivating and unpredictable arrangements, frequently
moving from soft to heavy jams.

MICHAEL GALLAGHER
He has been working as a semi professional photographer since 1992 although his interest in photography came up at the age of six/seven years old. One of his most valuable works has covered the community anti drugs movements in Dublin from 1995 onwards. He’s been published in most Irish newspapers as freelance, such as Evening Press, Irish Times, Independent, Hotpress, sports, trade union, community NGO publications.

answer to What:
the shed is a no profit fertile off site installation and workshop.
she lives of the donation of her audience and because there are artists keen to create inside it.
It exists for people to have a space off site where to work and to plan sharing creatively and toexchange about cultural matters and ideas.
It is a collective work where everyone who gives a contribution will be able to present their ideas and to participate on a proactive way in different phases.
Those here to do nothing will instead asked to leave the place, as there is need of work and support for such a space to be maintained.
It is not given to a passive audience to hung on and to party, there is no entertainment, but the shed asks to the audience to participate to the space to be active and to produce communication .
If you like to know more you can see
www.myspace.com/mcbett
www.myspace.com/mcbett
McBett is the initial promoter, in the idea that someone would put their own ideas and contribution for the activation of the space from the initial vision.
Money go to the maintenance of the raw costs, still mainly covered by McBett only.
External curators present their events here and everyone can discuss in meeting about something they would like to do.
meeting is on the 20th of the month.
For everyone used to independent spaces this should not be a news.
themes for the shed are internationality and diversity
Evidently you are not really familiar with this principle.
there are many principles within the shed that are not familiar with Ireland so you are invited to explore them, as we mostly come from another country:
the international landscape of the shed.
Politic is the tool, Culture is the target.
