Playwright and poet Ulick O'Connor launches new poetry collection![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() New collection published by Salmon Poetry Renowned author Ulick O'Connor presented his new collection of poems, 'The Kiss - New and Selected Poems and Translations,' in Dublin this evening. ![]() Left to right: Ulick O'Connor, Fred Johnston (Western Writers' Centre, Galway, Joseph Woods (Poetry Ireland) Merlin Holland, grandson of Oscar Wilde, launched Ulick O'Connor's new collection of poems, published by Salmon Poetry, at a reception at Dublin's Merrion Hotel this evening. O'Connor will read for the Western Writers' Centre at their second 'The Forge at Gort' festival on March 27th in Gort, Co. Galway. Noted also for his verse plays in Noh form, Ulick O'Connor's first collection of poetry was published by Hamish Hamilton and Dolmen Press in 1975, followed by five others.
