40th Anniversary Civil Rights March
As we approach the 40th anniversary of the first civil rights march on the 5th October 1968 organised by the Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association (NICRA) . The Communist Party of Ireland has produced a special supplement to mark this important event and presents its understanding of the relevance of NICRA and the important lessons that the CPI believes can be brought into todays struggles.
The supplement also contains a time line of the most important developments in the struggle for civil rights and the building of NICRA that younger activists might find interesting. It can be down loaded from our website
