Come to the meeting, help build the campaign. The truth will out. Let's all stand together in the name of the truth
Saturday's public meeting by the Justice For Terence Wheelock campaign was a great success with over 150 members of the public turning out to show their interest in the campaign.
The meeting, held at Lourdes Youth and Community Parish Hall Sean McDermott Street, was addressed by Larry Wheelock; civil rights veteran and SWP member Eamonn McCann and local Labour councillor Aodhán Ó Ríordáin with Gregor Kerr from the WSM chairing.
The meeting on Saturday was hugely successful and, as was pointed out by several speakers, the campaign's strength is the determination of the Wheelock family and the local community not to be browbeaten.
The meeting resolved to spread the campaign to other areas of Dublin and beyond in order to keep up the public pressure for a full independent public inquiry. We need the support of everyone who believes in truth and justice for this to happen. Over the coming months there will be Justice for Terence Wheelock meetings held all over Dublin and throughout Ireland. If you can help to organise a meeting in your area, please contact Larry Wheelock on 087 3219096 or Gregor Kerr on 086 1501151
