The Last Irish Brigadista - An Audience with Bob Doyle

UCC, Cork. Tuesday February 20th. 2007. West Wing 6. 7.30pm.

Bob Doyle, the last remaining Irish Brigadista, will inform and inspire people with his memories of the anti-fascist struggle in Spain. Bob and and the other veterans of the International Brigades have finally got the recognition they deserve but the message he brings is as relevant today in Ireland as it was in Spain in the '30s. Bob will be accompanied by Harry Owens, his long time friend and comrade.

All are welcome and admission is free.
