WILLIAM RODRIGUEZ

A feature length film about William Rodriguez entitled "The Keymaster" by Mario Diaz is slated
for a 2007 release by Brooklyn's Cinemar Films:

“The film is more than just the story of William’s heroism. It is also an exploration into the
life of a man who struggles to stop saving others for the chance to save himself. Unemployed
for three years, he was eventually evicted from his home and started sleeping under a bridge
in his car at night while continuing to organize rallies and appear regularly on Spanish-language
television during the day.

William’s dramatic journey is suited for a medium as powerful as his story. That is why “The
Keymaster” is intended for a wide theatrical release and is being shot on High Definition video.
The film is poised to impact the current documentary-friendly film market just like “Fahrenheit
9/11,” “Control Room,” and “Capturing the Friedmans” did recently. To ensure the success of this
project, Cinemar Films has assembled a remarkable team of documentary professionals. Christopher
Seward, the editor “Fahrenheit 9/11,” is on board, along with Director of Photography Alan Jacobsen
(Sundance winner “Wet Dreams and False images”) and director Mario Diaz (“Bazooka”), who has four
feature documentaries to his credit.

William Rodriguez is a native of Puerto Rico, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of
the State of New Jersey. On September 11th 2001, and for approximately nineteen years prior thereto,
Rodriguez was employed as a maintenance worker at the World Trade Center (WTC) in New York, New York.

On 9/11, Rodriguez single-handedly rescued fifteen persons from the WTC, and as Rodriguez was the
only person at the site with the master key to the North Tower stairwells, he bravely led firefighters
up the stairwell, unlocking doors as they ascended, thereby aiding in the successful evacuation of
unknown hundreds of those who survived. Rodriguez, at great risk to his own life, re-entered the Towers
three times after the first, North Tower impact at about 8:46am, and is believed to be the last person
to exit the North Tower alive, surviving the building's collapse by diving beneath a fire truck.

As the founder and President of the Hispanic Victims Group, he was among the Families Advisory Council
for the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation. He was one of many people including the Jersey Girls
who went to congress and asked for a formal investigation, the one which became the 9/11 Commission.

In December 2005, his attorney Berg proposed a 9/11 Petition to the United Nations, which calls for a
Resolution to the United Nations General Assembly for an "Independent International September 11th Truth Commission".

William Rodriguez made a public statement on Nov 12th 2006 regarding the news of the Venezuelan National
Assembly calling for an explanation of what really happened on 9/11 and the call that the government could be behind the attacks.

"We have worked non-stop with the officials of Venezuela to bring the truth to them. I am glad that our
efforts are having the support of world leaders and we are continuing to bring the real experiences to
other world leaders as well," Rodriguez said.

Rodriguez spent a month and a half in Venezuela last summer, accompanied by philanthropist Jimmy Walter
and a reporter from an American newspaper, calling for international support for the victims to find the
truth of what really happened and how the government of the United states failed to explain it to those
affected. A vast amount of questions and Rodriguez's experiences of explosions at the basement of the North
Tower before the plane hit the first tower, help fuel a 9/11 Truth movement, and the notion that the towers
were imploded.

Both Rodríguez and Jimmy Walter believe that the FBI and federal government aimed at sabotaging this trip,
using tactics such as including them on the no-fly list. The FBI requested the guest list of the hotel he
was in, and as a result, the Venezuelan government gave him five full-time body guards.

Irish film documentarian and recent Emmy winner pitching William Rodriguez to HBO and others for
ground breaking 9/11 truth documentary.

Emmy winner and documentary film maker, Pat O'Mahony, is pushing hard with HBO and others to film a
story of William Rodriguez, the last man out alive of the World Trade Center and declared a national
hero for saving hundreds of lives.

(Irish readers might remember Pat O’Mahony as a fashion correspondent on Head to Toe. O’Mahony is a
London-based freelance TV and radio producer/presenter, having left Dublin after nine years at RTE in
1998. His Reporters at War series, which he originated, developed and produced for Discovery – was
shown on RTE in November 2005 – has won an Emmy award.)

"William's story needs to be told and what he has to say is a great way to lead up to the bigger story
of 9/11," said O'Mahony last week in New York, a day after receiving an Emmy for his acclaimed
documentary called 'Reporters at War.'

O'Mahony, recipient of his first Emmy and originally from Ireland, is now in the process of pitching
the story to major studios after meeting with Rodriguez on two occasions, once in London and recently
in New York.

"It has all the ingredients. The last man out alive, heroism, his fight for the truth and, of course,
his interesting life starting back as a boy in Puerto Rico," said O'Mahony.

"Since day one, I have told the same story, never straying from the truth," said Rodriguez at Ground
Zero at the recent 9/11 ceremony held in New York. "I am going to continue to tell my story, trying to
get at the truth of what happened at the WTC since the 3,000, people who died on that tragic day,
including more than 200 friends, deserve nothing less than the truth in order to preserve their dignity
and honor."

"I will speak at every church and university in the country if that's what it takes to get at the truth.
The government story is a lie and I know it for a fact because I was there that morning," added Rodriguez.

Besides the media censorship, the 9/11 Commission finally met with Rodriguez before releasing its 2004
report, but in the final version his story was completely omitted and his name never mentioned.

"Unless there is a cover-up, why didn't they use my comments or even mention my name," said Rodriguez,
saying all the other statements were omitted from eye-witnesses in the basement who also heard the same explosion.

At one point, living under a bridge while feeling hopeless and destitute with no place to turn, he
planned to tie himself to a cross in the middle of Ground Zero to prove his point. But before taking
such drastic action, a Methodist support group came to his assistance, finding him shelter and providing
financial assistance to get him back on his feet.

Even though he now lives more comfortably in Jersey City, his troubles haven't completely vanished.
Recently, after returning from a 9/11 truth speech near Chicago, his apartment was suspiciously burglarized,
the thieves taking his laptop containing personal information as well as a camera and jewelry.

8. The Magician and the Expert.

A few days after the St. Mark’s meeting, I went to a Community Board No. 1 forum where the NIST report
would be discussed. The meeting was in the Woolworth Building, the world’s tallest structure when it was
completed in 1913. Since it was still standing, it seemed a good place to talk about the only former
world’s tallest building(s) to fall down. I was with William Rodriguez, who, as he always does, brought
along his video camera, “so they know I’m watching them.”

As a boy shining shoes in Puerto Rico, William dreamed of being wrapped in a straitjacket and suspended
upside down from a flaming rope. “That was going to be my big trick. It was my goal to become a magician,
the greatest illusionist in the Caribbean basin.”

University cancels MI5 spy's lecture due to fear of assassin

AN IRISH university has cancelled a guest lecture by former MI5 spy David Shayler over fears he could
be assassinated while there. UCC last night confirmed that a speaking engagement by Mr. Shayler for the
Irish 9/11 Truth Movement at the university's Boole Library will not now take place on November 12.

UCC last night played down claims of "assassination fears" with the conference organisers, but admitted
it had "some security issues" with Mr. Shayler's proposed engagement. The college last night said it
would be "inappropriate" to detail the exact security concerns to the Irish Independent which resulted
in the cancellation of the booking.

"This was a provisional booking - we are perfectly within our rights to decline confirmation," one UCC
official insisted.

DECISION

Last night, Morgan Stack of the Irish 9/11 Movement claimed that the group's members were informed by
the college that the decision was taken purely on security grounds.

"I called a meeting about six weeks ago specifically to address (their) security concerns," Mr. Stack
explained. "I told them that this individual, David Shayler, did have an attempt on his life about four
years ago. He worked on counter-terrorism in the 1990s involving Al-Qaeda and the IRA.

Annie Machon quit her job at MI5 and endured three years on the run - all for the sake of her partner
David Shayler, who was jailed last week. She tells Stuart Jeffries why.

“It was a nightmare, especially because there were so many agencies involved - MI5, Special Branch,
the RUC, GCHQ. They all had their own interests. That was why Bishopsgate happened." Shayler later
claimed that MI5 could have stopped the 1993 IRA bombing of Bishopsgate in the City of London, which
left one dead and 44 injured.

Why didn't you leave then? "It was very easy to get into a stasis. You have lots of friends there. But
when you get to a more established section like the Middle East terrorism section and you see it's the
same, then you think about quitting."

In 1995, Shayler discovered that MI6 had paid an agent who was involved in the plot to assassinate the
Libyan leader, Muammar Gadafi. Why was that wrong? "Apart from the immorality of it, the general consensus
from the intelligence community was that the assassination of a well-established head of state by an
Islamic fundamentalist in a very volatile area was not a good idea. It was crazy, but these bozos at
MI6 wanted to have a crack at him."

Why didn't you go quietly? "Well, other officers did. In the year we left, 14 officers resigned. The
average figure was usually four. It was very scary. Dave is someone who thinks he should fight for what
he believes in. And I knew what he was talking about. I knew he had to have the support against the

An audience member asked Shayler about MI5's possible complicity in 7/7, and, if so, whether Tony Blair's
government was involved or were kept in the dark. This was Shayler's response [my transcription]:

”Yeah, I mean, I don't know how involved Blair is it's a difficult question to answer. I mean, certainly
I know, as I say, the intelligence services do things behind the backs of government, the cabinet and
parliament it's very easy in this country to do that, as there's no oversight of the services.

But I think the only way we can explain Blair's behaviour is that he is blackmailable by the intelligence
services. I know that the intelligence services have files on most of the Labour government because I saw
some of the files while I was there. In fact ... [inaudible audience interjections] ...Well, one of the
things I want to tell you is that I actually, I didn't see this myself, I must admit but somebody who was
reviewing Blair's file, this was when Blair was unknown really, in 1992, not particularly well known,
