Galway : "No frankincense for Palestine this Xmas, only Israel's iron garrotte around her throat

category galway | rights, freedoms and repression | news report author Saturday December 23, 2006 20:41author by TD Report this post to the editors

No frankincense, myrrh or justice for Palestine this Xmas !

Rather than head off to their respective homes for the Xmas break, a group of out of town activists based in Galway procrastinated the sweet inevitable for a day in order to bear witness to suffering Palestine.

An information table was manned outside Lynch's castle,Shop st, where flyers on Israel's Apartheid Wall were handed out to passing pedestrians. The peak experience of the day was Khaled from Palestine, chancing upon us and visiting serious heartening appreciation on our efforts after joining us for the remainder of our five hour stint.

For sure there's no gold, frankincense, myrrh or justice for Palestine this Xmas but at least there's solidarity and maybe we made Khaled's week if not day?.

Israel has just announced that it intends to set up new homes for Israel settlers in an abandoned army barracks in Gaza. So much for the US and Europe and any form of peace-plan.

When the filthy parasitical state of Israel is wiped from the face of the earth there will be peace in the world. Destroy Israel by any means necessary!

The wall around Bethlehem is to be regretted, but so are the 1000 Israeli casualties from 2000 till the Wall was built.
In 1950 the Christian Community of Bethlehem was 75% whereas now it is only 12%. Two thirds of those who left, left between 1948 and 1967 when Jordan occupied the West Bank, long before the security barrier was built.
If the Christians leaving because the wall has such an adverse effect on the economy, why have'nt the Muslim left.
The reason for so many Christians leaving, is unfortunately due to their persecution by the Muslims, such as rape, loss of their land, forced marriages of Christian women to Muslim men etc. etc.
Israel being such an "apartheid state, it is quite funny that it is the only state in the Middle East, where instead of the Christian population leaving, they have increased from 34000 in 1948 to more than 130000 now.

It's a social blessing that the likes of your sisters, mother and wifie are all well concealed behind their veils. Keep it up!
As for wiping out the state of Israel of the map, well keep in mind that the same state of Israel has the capacity to knock out all five of its neighbouring Arab capitals within the space of 15 minutes, but it doesn't do so (though fuck knows why not). Then again Yusuf you could always commit suicide like your cohorts if the existence of Israel is so painful to bear, but if you do please take the initiative of doing so in the quiet of your own home when there isn't anybody else around (except for your sister, mother and wife of course)
