Stand up to state racism!
At 8 pm on Friday 17 November,
in the Teachers' Club (Club na Múinteoirí), 36 Parnell Square, Dublin,
Residents Against Racism will be holding a table quiz to raise much-needed funds.
Residents Against Racism fights week in and week out against state racism. We campaign with people facing deportation and other forms of discrimination, and are currently highlighting the racist legislation planned by Michael McDowell. We publish and distribute leaflets, maintain a 24-hour anti-racist helpline, organise solidarity petitions, and hold protest meetings and pickets.
All of this costs money. RAR doesn't receive a cent of state funding, and has no connection with any political party. We rely completely on contributions from our supporters.
This table quiz will help us to carry on with our work. If you can make it, we can promise the usual stimulating questions, top-notch prizes and good crack. If you can't make it, please send us a few euro anyway.
