Are people who eat organic food really as virtuous as they think? A new academic paper has found that, in fact, they score higher on the 'dark triad' traits of narcissism, Machiavellianism and psychopathy.

got me thinking. & remembering.
The last Social Forum I was at, one of the Babels volunteer english translator had problems in his booth, and just gave up being serious and started gurgling but worse switching the channels of his gurgle and hitting loads of other sessions. can anyone hear me? tap tap tap the microphone, can anyone hear me???? no-one can hear me. I effing hate it here. don't know why I bothered filling out the form
I'm full of respect for Babels though (check them out & help if you can) http://www.babels.org/ as I'm sure Paula is sitting over there in Greece playing with the radio. & I thought Pat C's observation on the "Marx-ish" looking man in the last photo was very funny. Well you only expect to find brainy looking people at social fora.

& since 5/5/06 is the the 188th birthday of Karl Marx, a little chance to plug him. Not that I'm a fan - coz I'm not. But if you never had the didactic advantage of a mobile library, I suppose Marxism is a phase the intellect can bear whilst maturing enough to ask the real questions & thinking for yourself.

"I thought Pat C's observation on the "Marx-ish" looking man in the last photo was very funny. Well you only expect to find brainy looking people at social fora."

if you click twice on the photos you get a phenomenal increase in size without the inverse square law applying on quality. congrats top paula or the tech-heads on that. anyway the increase allows you to see that one of the posters on the wall behind marx is by the LCR, so it suggests that the 4th international in question is the USFI.

COLLECTIVE REFLECTION AND REPORT ON THE IV EUROPEAN SOCIAL FORUM
ATHENS, FROM 4 TO 7 OF MAY 2006

Hello everybody!!!

Here you have access to a COLLECTIVE REFLECTION AND REPORT ON THE
ATHENS ESF. It is the result of joint research between participants and
organisers of the 4th ESF, based on bringing together the answers to a
survey of open questions and the review of articles and analyses on the
Athens ESF.
Its aim is for the collective reflection to contribute to the Forum
by exchanging and confronting visions from different origins and
perspectives; to allow people that could not come to be informed on what
happen at the Forum ; and as a memory tool of the ESF Athens, among others
things. Specially as a material for the discussion at the next ESF
European Preparatory Assemble.
The format is based on an wiki open editing and work in progress, so
if you have not participated jet, it is time to insert your point of
view!!!
A part of the collective article you could find a systematization of
web-bibliographic resources on the Athens ESF.

Read and contribute at: http://www.euromovements.info/yearbook

Or directly at:
http://www.euromovements.info/yearbook/index.php/Multia...s_ESF

During the week it will be available also in French.

The collective article is part of the development of an
“E-yearbook of social movements across Europe – 2006.”, developed at the
framework of the ESF Memory project. We hope that this will be a useful
tool and also an inspiration to deepen the understanding amongst Social
movements of ourselves, our past and our future.

Collective thanks to everybody that had contributed and thanks in
advance to the further online developers!!
