The Louth, Newry & Mourne Film Commission are delighted to announce a weeklong photographic exhibition and documentary screening of ’14 Days in Great Britain’ in Newry this June.

The screening will take place on Saturday June 3rd in the Sean Hollywood Arts Centre in Newry, with Executive Producer and Director D. William Gibbons flying in from L.A. for a post screening talk on the vision and long term goals of this 10 year documentary project.

The exhibition will run from Saturday 3rd June until Saturday 10th .

Mairtín de Barra, the director of the Film Commission is delighted with the reciprocal gesture of the producers.
“It’s great to see an end result to something we helped back in August of last year. Mr. Gibbons has a keen interest in showing the film to those who helped make it – he interviewed hundreds of members of the public for the documentary so it’s a chance for those people to see photographs of themselves and their screen interviews for the first time.’

The Film was shot over 14 Days in 14 locations across the U.K., including Glasgow, Liverpool and London.

The Film Commission was launched in March 2005, aiming to encourage indigenous production and market the region’s qualities to International Filmmakers. It is funded by the Interreg 111a Scheme, Louth County Council and Newry and Mourne District Council.
