National - Event Notice Thursday January 01 1970 Anti Social Partnership Campaign Meeting![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Colleagues, After a long discussion it was agreed in principle that there would be a campaign of arguments and ideas around the forthcoming ballots on proposals for a new deal. Though a leaflet would be produced the campaign would not have the resources for blanket coverage of all workplaces with the perspective of defeating the deal. The meeting was also in agreement that there is a need to build a serious and sustained presence in the unions of those who are opposed to social partnership and for democratic and fighting unions. It was agreed that people would take these conclusions away for consideration, and to their respective organisations where appropriate, and reconvene at another meeting. |
