What we have seen in Starmer since July is a petty, inhumane, almost spiteful man who considers himself morally superior to the mass of humanity. This, says Dr David McGrogan, was confirmed in spades yesterday.

The children die at the hands of the suicidists one day, regular military the next.

US troops kill five Iraqi civilians at checkpoint

Five Iraqi civilians have been killed after US troops opened fire on their vehicle near a military base north of Baghdad.

Two children died in the attack which happened outside of Baquba.

A survivor told journalists the family was travelling from Balad, a town just north of Baghdad, to Baquba for a funeral when they were shot at by a US patrol as it approached them on the road.

"As we tried to move over to one side to let them pass, they opened fire," one of the survivors said.

An Iraqi police official said the minivan the family was travelling in was taken away by US forces shortly afterwards.

Reuters television footage showed the dead children in a morgue in Baquba and relatives kissing another dead body on a morgue trolley.

"They are all children. They are not terrorists," shouted one relative. "Look at the children," he said as a morgue official carried a small dead child into a refrigeration room.

"We felt bullets hitting the car from behind and from in front," said another survivor. "Heads were blown off. One child had his hand shot off," he said.

All of these children die horifically because of grown-ups' beliefs and the militaristic mind.

If you believe US troops intentionally, knowingly and deliberately murdered children - then there is no difference.

I believe that the US top military brass knowingly, deliberately and intentionally told their troops that all Iraqi citizens were to be regarded as terrorists and that they similarly instructed them to shoot first and ask questions later. And that they did all of this with the full support of George W Bush.

In the small print of the Lancet report on Iraqi dead, it estimates that up to 46% of those killed in Iraq up to October 2004 were children. That report estimated that at least 100,000 Iraqis had been killed since 20 March 2003. That means that up to 46,000 children have killed in Iraq with the active assistance of the Irish Government and the use of Shannon airport.
May God forgive us,
King Herrod in only estimated to have killed about 2000 innocents shortly after the birth of Christ.

50 million Iraqis now living in a democracy.
No more childrens prisons.
No more feet first into the mincers.
No more feeding to lions.
I suspect God will forgive the liberators.

As for the authors of the hastily published and thoroughly discredited Lancet report - Thou shalt not bear false witness. God frowns upon that sort of thing

'No more childrens prisons.'

There were (and probably still are) children imprisoned in Abu Ghraib.

US held youngsters at Abu Ghraib

Children as young as 11 years old were held at Abu Ghraib,
the Iraqi prison at the centre of the US prisoner abuse
scandal, official documents reveal.
