There will be a demonstration against the upcoming disability bill, which is
currently before the dail.
The government have signalled that they are no longer going to listen to the
DLCG and intend to put the bill through without taking any more of our
concerns into account.
This demonstration has been called by a number of disability groups. They
are trying to get as many people to show their opposition to our rights
being limited by this legislation.
The demonstration will start at 13:00 exactly on Thursday 26th May from
Parnell sq and march to the Dail. If you can please show up for even some
of the demonstration, that would help show to the government that we are not
going to simply take what they are giving us. We want a full rights
approach to the issues that effect our lives.
