The campaign against the EU Constitution in France has united a broad spectrum of the Left, which is leading the fight. It has divided the Socialist Party and brought the prospect of NO vote in the French referendum on May 29. Yet Irish media reports say that most No-voters simply wish to bash Chirac and the current French government.
Jacques Roillet will explain what lies behind the support for the NO campaign in France. Harry Browne will open a discussion on Irish media coverage of the French campaign.
The Campaign Against the EU Constitution can provide information and speakers explaining the impact of the Constitution and why we oppose it.
