Refueling Murder at Shannon

Fuel Tankers and Warplanes at Shannon on second aniversary of war

On the second aniversary of the war against Iraq, US Hercules C 130 warplane abuses Irish so-called neutrality, and refuels as it participates in this continuing war.
Out in the Shannon estuary an oil tanker delivers aviation fuel to help refuel this murderous war.

Today at Shannon – Hercules on the runway
This morning at 0715 hours a US air force Hercules C 130 warplane with markings ANG Wyoming 21534 was parked at a specially prepared inner secure compound in the centre of the airfield at Shannon airport, guarded by both Gardai and Irish army, and being serviced and refuelled by FBO company. Meanwhile at the airport marine terminal, or jetty, an oil tanker was unloading aviation fuel to help send such warplanes on their killing missions (see photo). I was shadowed by airport police and Garda (“normal” police) vehicles, as I monitored and photographed this aircraft. However on this occasion they declined to arrest me. No attempt was made by the Irish authorities to arrest and intern this aircraft and its occupants who were in uniform, and are likely to have been carrying weapons and munitions. Since virtually most armoured piercing ammunition now in use by US forces in Iraq contains depleted uranium, it is also likely that this aircraft or others like it are regularly transporting quantities of depleted uranium through Shannon airport.
This particular Hercules took off on the main runway (photo attached) at 0810 hours.
Spent or used depleted uranium ammunition is causing an epidemic of cancer among children in Iraq as a result of the use of this ammunition in the Gulf War in 1991, and war and occupation of Iraq that began in March 2003.
This weekend 19/20th March, marks the second anniversary of this war. The death toll is now well over 100,000 and rising.
lest we forget.

"as I monitored and photographed this aircraft"

"monitered"? You apparently imagine you have some sort of official appointment for something do you?
If so when are you going to give your report?

Howard Hughes used to "monitor" his own faeces by labeling them in jars and logging the dates. I suppose he was compiling a report too.

What is the proven connection between a) the tanker and the war? and b) the aircraft and the war. It could be carrying beer to a base in the UK for all you know. I suggest the cops couldn't be arsed with you because you've relegated yourself to the status of tiresome, boring, trainspotter with no facts to support your ravings. You're a disgrace.

Ignore the trolls. The slavish traitor bastards who allow this nation to be used inan illegal war of occupation by foreign imperialists are the disgrace. People like yourself will be remembered for the moral stand you took whilethis shameful activity went on.

It doesn't matter if that military aircraft was carrying beer, bombs or biros, its still supporting the war.

I say fair play to Edward Horgan for getting off the couch and actually doing something. Its important that we don't forget that Shannon is still being constantly used as a pit stop for aircraft on the way to help kill people.

Far more attention and effort is needed at Shannon, where Ireland's involvement is taking place daily.

It is a RUSSIAN tanker ship that is supplying RUSSIAN AVgas for most of the commercial airlines that use Shannon. So funnily enough the RUSSIANS are indirectly helping the US in freeing Iraq from terrorism,as the US passing thru Shannon pays CASH for their fuel and are employing more security gaurds to keep the plane spotters[AKA criminal vandals of US property],and keeping Shannon people emploed.Long may they continue to use Shannon!!!They are paying my mortage and so for that I am grateful.

Edward Horgan is doing a great service to this country,he is highlighting the fact that Ireland is an active participant in the U.S named "war on terror".Those U.S troops stopping for "the soup and sandwich" in Shannon, while their planes of death re-fuel on Irish soil, are not going to Iraq to make peace or win anyones hearts and minds.........they are going to Iraq to wage war on her people and to install a puppet government to protect the oil reserves for the U.S.
As Irish men/women we should be applauding Edward because has the courage to do something and not sit on the fence like a lot of us here.Look at all the innocent civilians killed by the U.S killing machine and ask yourself this........why is the life of a muslim worth less then a western Christian/Jew?

Hey maybe if we all had of sat on the fence in Shannon March 1st 2003 the fence would have fallen down allowing us to mass tresspass and declare Shannon unsafe for military aircraft.

Although first we would have had to have got past the long long line of Guards every third one in riot gear and some with viscious looking alsation doggies.

And sure there was only three to five hundred of us so we didnt stand much of a chance, oh well, maybe next/this time.

As for your value of human life question Ive consulted a mathematician and together we worked it out.

1 American life = 15 European lives = 100 Middle Eastern Lives = 1000 African lives

Its all relative.

A C-130 is an AIRCRAFT not a "death plane". It does deliver troops. but it also delivers supplies to those in need, INCLUDING the Afgans who need food, firewood for warmth, and medicine for the ill. This plane is diverse and supports freedom. If it had been a fighter plane, then yes, call it a plane of "Death" but a cargo plane only induces supplies for support. Majority of this aircrafts purposes is to benefit the people of the world. England uses them to to deliver food to herds that are stranded.

This particular piggy is on its way to resupply the illega U.S. invasion and occupation of Iraq that hs brought us over 600, Iraqi deaths and 2,800 U.S. fatalities. When you have a fprwarded deployed military these planes are the life blood of th killing machine. No logistics no invasion.
