Rathmines anti war group are hosting our monthly rocking out the war planes gig this Thursday, Nov 25, in Madison’s bar. We have 3 fantastic bands & as always it promises to be a great night out. Whilst Bush may have won the election by a slim majority and the vicious air strikes have moved from Fallujah to Mosul we need to keep focussed to the task at hand… to get US military of out Shannon & Iraq.. Everyday over 1,000 US soldiers pass through our airport on their way to engage in this bloody & illegal war. Rather than invest in the airport/Shannon economy Ahern & Cullen prefer instead to take the US warmongers blood money, ignoring our neutrality, their responsibility & the wishes of the vast majority of the country. Come to the gig, enjoy some great music and find out more about the anti war movement.
