What the person is the photo is holding is a "parody", I guess you could call it, of an American $1 bill, with Washington's head replaced by Bush's, and "9-11" replacing "ONE" on the back. The bill is covered with URLs of websites featuring information about the 9-11 attacks on NYC, that is, websites that discuss what more and more Americans are beginning to believe is a cover-up by the US govt. Also scattered across the bill are small images reflecting the same idea, such as tiny oil wells, weapons in the claws of the eagles (on real currency this would be an olive branch), and a skull and bones representing the secret society Bush was (or is) a part of from his days at Yale University.

The website where you can take a better look at "Deception Dollars" is:

So it's true then, you guys actually think GWB is worse than your pal Osama. I'd love to send three of you to meet George Bush, and three of you to meet Osama.

The three that met George would probably shout at him for a while, be treated with courtesy, and have George put his points to you. He wouldn't convince you of course, - you're too far gone for that, but at least you could then return saying you met the warmonger and that he really is an idiot.

The three sent to Osama would go there in the great hope that they could talk him around. You'd believe you could appeal to his better side, by showing him all westerners weren't like Bush, and that if he co-operated the US could be forced out of the middle east, etc etc. In fairness to you, you really do think that Osama could be made see sense, - because after all, he' s only there because of evil US imperialism, and would go away were US foreign policy to be reformed.

Alas, whereas in the US you would be sent home unharmed, (though perhaps on CIA records for using threatening language at the President), Osama would keep you there, try and bargain with the west with your lives, and then slowl hack your heads off on camera for your parents to see before dumping your bodies somewhere in Pakistan.

I really fear for people who do not understand the contrast between evil, and bad policy (which it is not, but I'm trying to see this from your point of view).

Seriously folks, I know I'm not going to convert you to the right, but statements like the one at the top of my post are ridiculous, and you know it.

To John McGuirk - Freedom Institute.

Who armed Osama?

Osama is a product of the foreign policy of the USA. Unlike you John we know that both GWB and Osama are scum.

I think when you make a mistake, for however noble a reason, (and stopping the Soviets was a noble reason), you should correct it.

Bush has killed many, many more innocent people than Bin laden.

Bush has maimed many, many more people than Bin laden.

These are undeniable facts.

The argument is whether the pain, destruction and death that Bush has caused are a means to a higher or more important end.

Bush and his supporters obviously think that the pain and deaths they have caused are worth it, or will be worth it.

And Bin Laden and HIS supporters think that the pain and destruction that THEY'VE caused are worth it, or will be worth it.

In my opinion they are both murdering, terrorist bastards. But, in terms of number of innocents killed and maimed, Bush is far ahead of Bin Laden.

John I don't know what you know but I consider U.S. and British interference and what could be called in the most disarming language "tinkering" ever since the atomization of the Ottoman Empire to be a serious detraction to any modern motives my false government might announce. They are in this for the money alone. If you can allow yourself to ignore the confused language of liberation on the grounds I have described above, the conflicts of business interests are absolutely astounding among Bush and his fellows. Don't for any reason think that persons like myself are trying to apologize for Osama bin Laden but we are trying to correct the wrongs of our "elected" leaders, which should be correctible as they are accountable to us, unlike al Qaeda.

"Bush and his supporters obviously think that the pain and deaths they have caused are worth it, or will be worth it."
Not really.
Bush and his supporters obviously DON'T think, at all, at all.
They are mostly in DENIAL. This means they have yet to get to the thinking stage.
The behaviour is akin to herd instinct and motivated greed and an overwhelming sense of inferiority, partly deriving from the post-colon couture.. eg sexism, genocide (of the native populations) ethos of highly competitive physical prowess, domination of simplistic concepts of "ownership" usually at the expense and ignorance of the concept of the commons etc. etc. ( These are some of the underlying elements of Fascism, and as described by others these unconscious tools of corporate Fascism...)
foppish obedience, sometimes caused by poor education, perverse nutrition and overdoses of pollution, both societal and chemical.. and this is in a generation exhibiting the short attention span attributed to watching TV while the brain is at a formative stage. But the primary cause , IMHO is the overwhelming feeling of inferiority.
Bush himself does not "think", in the common understanding of the term.
He exhibits behaviour associated with post alcolholism and other possible addictions which has never been treated, and we can see the basis of his inferiority (within the general post-colon millieu) linking with the father/son problem.
He is told what to do.. ( I currently subscribe to the Ruppert theory that his time is up. He will be allowed to self destruct and be replaced ASAP. So we have a choice of Bush Version 2, or Bush lite (Kerry). May be just wishful thinking.)
Even so we are still left with the basic problem that USUK needs a proper democracy with proportional representation and free press to avoid fundamentalist religious nutters such as Bliar and Bush to slaughter again at the behest of their controllers, the oil/arms cartel.
In Bushism..."thinking" is absent. There is no philosophy or creed that can be attributed to the party, other than the greed of the shareholders.
There is only unthinking and slavish repetion of global principles that are contradicted by their actions..in an Orwellian manner. EG Giving "Freedom"... by bombing.. Giving "Democracy" by torture. etc.

While I have to agree the phrase 'No. 1 terrorist' is a little shallow I think the attempts to liken criticism of a myriad of policy/paradigm issues that Bush has taken to represent to sympathy towards Osama Bin Laden is equally shallow.

I really fear for people that use the term 'evil' when describing policy or action of any form.

Well, the Drudge Report has dropped the link to this website, so its web-traffic will be back to the level of a good proctology site in no time flat. .............. Loved the photos of the BIG MARCH. Glad to see the "average" Irish citizen so well represented. I saw Jew-Haters, Brit-Haters, Protestant-Haters, Sodomist, Socialist, Communist, and an odd mix of Sinn Fein signs which confuse me a bit. Maybe I had the wrong understanding of this organization? .... The thing that troubles me the most is the creeping anti-semitism that seem to undergird all of these European peace marches and looks to me to be very tolerated in the European press. Whats up with that? Very scary. The Germans (and note I say the Germans and NOT Hitler - as not confronting 'evil' lets evil become the norm) killed 6 million Jews. Stalin, the posterboy of many of these marchers, killed another 4 million, and threw in about 3 million Catholics for good measure. I would warn the "average" Irish citizen who opposes violence/war on a moral level to be careful of who you align yourselves with - these "fellow travelers" may not be what or who you think they are.

Welcome

AtlantaOSullivan - I'm sure you think you "see" a lot of things that does not mean they are real. All these European peace marches are only anti-semitic in your head. That is what's "Very scary. " Trot back to whatever right wing swamp you surfaced from now, I'm sure you have single mothers to persecute or welfare recipients to terrorize.

John"stopping the Soviets was a noble reason" - so it was noble to butcher civilians in Central America, South east Asia, Indonesia, support Apartheid etc you dirtbag. There was a pair of you in it and just because the USSR gave up does NOT mean that thebottom feeding pigs-in-the-trough world outlook of you and your "frredom" institute shit is any less unfit for human consumption now than it was then.

Canteen -
We must get you into an Anger Management class - or better yet, one on Civil Discourse.

Please read the attached story related to the the U.N.'s efforts last week to address the growing problem with anti-semitism. I am heartened by the simple fact that the U.N. has an awareness of the issue. Only a blindman, an apologist, or an instigator would not see the anti-Israel=anti-Jew elements in these "Peace" gatherings. Perhaps that is why the turnout was so small this past weekend compared to last Fall?

Anti israel =anti semitism
Anti Bush = anti americanism
