Hectic anti-war schedule in Galway![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Several events planned for build-up to Bush protests A highlight on Saturday evening at 6.30 in the Roisin Dubh in Dominick-street will be the Galway Alliance Against War’s (GAAW) public meeting with Ramsey Clark, ex-US Attorney General, who is in Ireland for the Mary Kelly re-trial. The meeting will also provide an opportunity to catch up with Mary herself, and with Iraqi exile Nuria Mustafa Dunne. Earlier on Saturday, a number of newly-elected anti-war city councillors will be helping out on the GAAW stall in Shop-street. The stall will run until 4 pm, which is the starting time at the Spanish Arch for the ‘Anti-war Tour of Galway’, under the auspices of AmBush. |
