The Socialist Equality Party is the Sri Lankan section of the International Committee of the Fourth International (ICFI). They have a website at http://www.wsws.org/. They are not linked in any way to the Socialist Environmental Alliance or the Socialist Workers' Party.

The New Left Front was formed in 1998. It's an alliance of Nava Sama Samaja Party (New Equal Society Party - USFI), National Democratic Party (Stalinists) and the National Democratic Movement (Radical Leftists).
