Jed Senior dreams that his weak-willed son Jed Junior will take over the bizarre family farming business but the sudden arrival of a rival heir to the dynasty provokes nasty and often hilarious consequences. A tragic-comic parable for the modern world’s greed, injustice and violence, The Butterfly Ranch takes place on a vertical stage which makes full use of a 40 foot high space in SS Michael and Johns and demands hugely physical performances from a talented cast.
