The Pals are homicidal thugs. No real freedom fighter blows up buses full of civilians. The boycott of Israeli goods by Europe is no different from other boycotts of Jews throughout European history. (Most recently the Nuremburg Laws imposed by the Nazis)
Their latest wheeze was to trick an 11 year old boy into walking up to a checkpoint with a bag of explosives and then trying to detonate it.
My heroes.
and even more heroic than the RA's bold exploit when they sent a driver rolling towards a British army checkpoint with a bomb in his car. Wasn't he padlocked to the steering wheel? Can't quite remember...
Oh, and another thing: how come when Israelis are blown up by terrorists, the Palestinians dance in the streets but when the IDF accidentally shoots someone (because the terrorists use innocents as shields) , we always hold an enquiry? What does this tell you about the relative cultures of Israel and the Arabs?
And another thing: if the Palestinians propose setting up a state with freedom for all, how come they don't allow any Jews to live in their areas? What does this tell you about the relative cultures of Israel and the Arabs?
But I digress. Or do I..?
Israel, far from combatting terrorism, is by its actions of murderous occupation and forced displacement creating the conditions where 'terrorism' (as you call it) will grow.
The frenzied tit-for-tat bartering on these and like pages of 'my atrocity is worse than yours' , which you seem to indulge in, does not address itself to the core problem; US sponsored Israeli state murder and theft.
If you stop treating people like shit and stealing their land and slaughtering them indiscriminately (just because you can and you feel like it) it would be logical to conclude that they will be less pissed off with you.
Or you can continue to try to intimidate, murder and ethnically cleanse their land, if that makes more sense to you. Just dont act surprised when they try to fight back.
Its so sad that the most discriminated-against people in human history now, through the Israeli state, are the perpetrators of some of the most horrific crimes against humankind.
Fear does not excuse barbarism, and terror is even more 'terrifying' when it uses the legitimacy of the nation state to rationalise its own barbarity.
Sadly, to be a slow learner can be extremely costly, usually, to other people.
nothing whatever about the history and nature of the Jewish people.
This weekend the three faiths of the book
have met to discuss the initiative of the Holy See, building on the 2nd Vatican Council to seek concensus between Jew, Christian and Muslim in our "age". The conference which has now met in all cities of the civilised worlds recognises that this is only one planet and "we are all created equal".
They tend to issue most of their statements in latin or arabic, these people, so I thought I'd give you the gist in English.
Do try and have a nice Sunday Avi.
You will come on board.
Without your history you have no future.
