Galway activists do their stuff for Owen Rice![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Raising public awareness of Owen's situation in Galway. On Saturday 28th Feb, from 10.am to 5pm, outside Brown Thomas's, Mainguard St, Galway, nine activists including Mary Kelly, a Spanish 'Nunca Mais' campaigner, two Green Party members and three women from 'Global Women's Strike' manned an information table, giving out some 1,500 leaflets concerning Owen's plight to passing pedestrians - except for two offensive troglodytes, bugger 'em - the response was heartening. Michael D. Higgins, the Mandate Union and 'I Supply' printers similiarly did their stuff in bearing witness to Owen with free photocopying from the first two aforesaid and a reduced rate from the latter when the Black Pope's situation was explained to the head honcho there. Fair play to all of 'em ! |

Excellent! Well done! Looks like the lads in Mill Street have finally worked out how to access Indymedia. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't 'Number 2' a euphemism for something else? Or is this just the new, improved shite?
