Hey if you want a bicycle,
i can't lend u one but i can let you know where to get one for dirt cheap.
Public Auction of bicycles
A public auction of bicycles will take place at Kevin Street Garda Station
in Dublin at 11am on Thursday 25th March 2004
So thats tomorrow if u are interested in trying to spend a little cash on a bicycle.
Regards Rory
It's not a good idea to go to the garda auction. It would only be of benefit to retired members of the Gang Heavy Gang.
cycle was good
@ 30 attended, including a few gardai cyclists
left g.o.r @ 6.30, up denmark st. mounjoy square, north circular, summerhill, parnell, capel, (told not to cross capel bridge by gardai, unsure why???) north quays, o`connell st. end @ 7.30
a few kids joined in the cycle around the charles st flats and summerhill area.
some good wheelie displays
ciaran cuffe of green party and family? attended, kids in carriers
clocks changing, summertime cycles
"It" being the non-crossing of Capel St. bridge? What was the reaction?
We were turning left down the quays anyway, we never had any intention of crossing the Grattan (not "Capel Street") bridge. The Garda never said anything about not crossing the bridge - he said that we were all liable for a summons because it was getting dark and not all of us had lights. When someone said to him we were finishing up in O'Connell Street he said fine, no problem.
"Communication is the key" (snigger)
I left before the mass reached Capel St. I must say that considering the small numbers it was good craic, the cops tagged along behind on their bikes and were very chilled out.
It was agreed to stay away from the wider streets in the city centre because of the small numbers which was a good plan. The mass got a bit spread out towards the end of parnell st, but generally everyone worked well together and the signs are good for a growth over the next few months. No messengers and very few DCC cyclists where were y'all.
