They're on Trial For Us, We're on the Loose for Them!
This appearance was postponed from last Monday.
The Pit Stop Ploughshares are facing two charges of criminal damage €2million & €100) arising out of their nonviolent disarmament of a US Navy war plane at Shannon Airport 3/2/03. Sentences carry a max of 10 years.
* The nature of this hearing is to review bail conditions and set a date for legal argument on the prosecution's belated submission in relation to discovery ordered by the trial judge.
** This is the sixth appearance in five weeks for the Ploughshares crew. The Spire Vigil, the single-file peace walk and solidarity vigils outside the courts maybe the sole visual expression in Dublin to opposition to U.S. troops commuting through Shannon in the past month. It maybe an opportunity for you to express solidarity and opposition.
