Eoin Rice had his first appearance in court on mon in relation to his arrest by gardai at the EU ministers meeting in Galway.

Not much to report except that the case was adjourned until may 10 and Eoin applied to have his camera film returned from the Gardai.

After the case people gathered outside the court house (in the wind and rain) to raise awareness of his case as well as related issues (Shannon, EU etc.)

I notice that Eoin is carrying an Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign placard. Does its chairman, Mr Raymond Deane, know about this.

Maybe it's the Provisional Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign as opposed to the Official Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign. What's the word at the top of the placard?

No, I knew nothing about Eoin Rice toting an IPSC placard, Provisional or Official. I've no idea whether he's paid his membership fee...
