At the end of the video which I took the time to watch there is mention of an Albert Ahern. I was attempting to point out that Bertie is not short for Albert but that his name is actually Bartholomew. I thought it might help seen as how the video is on Indymedia UK.

Thanks for that. I was watching RTE news on the internet last night and I thought I could hear people shouting slogans, but the report didn't refer to it and I wasn't sure if it was interference on my connection (though I didn't think so). It was probably clearer in the news report on the TV.
We are having our 'Another Europe' meeting in Galway tonight. It looks like it will be a good meeting. Hopfullly we can get a decent protest going next week.
Comrades, i am not from ireland and i just came here in Dublin. I hapened to pass through the castle at January 6th and I saw some guys holding plackards and also some police officers beside the gate.
My question is: Did the anarchists of dublin participate to this acction? How can I come in contact with the anarchist groups of dublin?

willing to work with DAPSE, and other politically broader organisations, on matters of common interest?
We anarchists seem to be still recovering from our post-new year hangovers! Anyway there is a round of meetings next week of the various organisations and networks that we are involved in, so somebody should be able to let you know what our thinking is before too long. Since the 'broad' groupings for the EU presidency seem to be brand new, we have never really discussed what our attitude is to them and thus nobody can really say where we stand. Personally I have a good idea of what my opinion will be towards 'Another Front is Inevitable', but don't know much about DAPSE. Is there any documents available describing the structure and goals of the organisation?
Has anyone heard of the Gazprom (Russian Gas Suppliers) scheduled "Energy Conference" for December 15 in the Shelbourne Hotel Dublin?
