THE MEETING,WHICH TAKES PLACE 28TH FEBRUARY 2002 IN THE GOETHE INSTITUTE, 62 FITZWILLIAM SQUARE, DUBLIN 2, WILL BRING TOGETHER THE VOICES OF ASYLUM SEEKING AND REFUGEE WOMEN WITH THOSE OF IRISH WOMEN WHO HAVE SPENT TIME RESEARCHING AND WORKING IN THIS AREA. SPEAKERS INCLUDE EILISH DILLON, PART-TIME LECTURER IN SOCIOLOGY OF DEVELOPMENT AND HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVIST; DR. PATRICIA KENNEDY, CO-AUTHOR OF THE REPORT ‘THE MATERNITY NEEDS OF ASYLUM SEEKING AND REFUGEE WOMEN’, AND THE VOICES OF WOMEN FROM AFGHANISTAN, SOUTH AFRICA AND CAMEROON.
