I wouldn't say there's any need to delete this event notice as open publishing has done its job of calling into serious doubt the assertion that Ni Chonaill is a neo Nazi.
Look on the bright side, Aine is seriously lacking in charisma. If she is the best leader that the far right in this country can produce they are unlikely to get much support.
As regards whether there is much difference between 'anti-immigration' people and 'nazis', the two seem to go hand in hand, wherever you get one the other is generally ready at a moments notice to crawl out from under whatever rock they are lurking under.
Yesterday I learned that an African man I had met frequently over the last few months is to undergo a serious operation next week. This is as a result of injuries he sustained from the authorities in his own country. Some people in this country only see (or only want to see) the colour of a person's skin, and fail to comprehend the reasons why they found it necessary to leave their own country.
Re: 'Helpful':
It is 'Fair Comment' to describe Aine Ni whatshername as a nazi, given her position on immigration and her prior membership of the PD's.
I would suggest that Indymedia delete this reference to Anie Ni Ch.. as a neo-nazi. Unless Indymedia has hard evidence that she is supports the mass murder of Jews, homosexuals and so on, it is a seriously inacccurate statemnt, and libelous.
Delete it now otherwise I hope she sues and closes ye down
The headline is more silliness from the communists. How can concern about immigration be likened to Nazism?
Most Irish people are against immigration and will soon be voting for anti-immigration candidates unless these people start to be turned away and deported. Most assylum seekers are here on bogus claims of persecution.
The Irish went to America because they were invited. They went to England because they were British citizens until 1922 and had a reciprocal immigration arrangement thereafter.
These people were not invited and most are here just because they can't be arsed to make a go of their own countries. The Geneva Convention must be scrapped, it was designed to give assylum to political leaders,, not the hoi polloi. It was drafted in the days before mass international travel, it's outdated and must be scrapped.
Will {per chance} Noel O'Flynn be there?
she's a complete loon, well worth going along to if you're in the vicinity. her perception of the geneva conventions alone are priceless, and the way she see words in the irish constitution which no-one else ever noticed is truly inspired.
be sure to bring a very simple arguement with you if you go, the simpler the arguement, the more astounding the sight of it having absolutely no effect on her. the 'irish people have long emigrated to other countries' approach is one she's well used to, she thinks that america should have thrown the famine victims back into the ocean coz they were economic migrants (least she did last time i heard her) but the line about irish should work as hard as those who immigrate here (comment above) should be a great new angle ;)
I hope the simple minded contributers above with their nazi nonsense can find ucc to make their protest though (hint, tis in cork, the capital ;)

Aims
The aim of the organisation is to address the phenomenon of immigration to Ireland and to lobby Government for a tight immigration policy.
The organisation aims at a very rigorous policy in relation to asylum-seekers, refugees, and a determined response to all illegal immigration.
No one who holds views of racial superiority is welcome in the group.
(Me)
Tis sad indeed coming from a country, most of whose population (decendant or otherwise) have been accepted in as immigrants abroad and have greatly benefited those countries.
If only Irish people living in Ireland worked as hard as the immigrants whom I have come across working here - the country would be in a far better state.
I agree that this woman's politics are revolting and I've picketed her meetings myself, but it is wrong to describe her as a 'neo-nazi'. She's not. She's a bigot and a racist (and a former member of the PDs).
has there been any kind of protest organised against this nazi pig?
Burn her!
