the latest chapter

Dermot Ahern, Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources launched the European Biometrics Forum(EBF) at the inaugural European Biometrics Forum Conference hosted last Monday 21st July, at Media Labs Europe, Dublin. Medialabs is run by MIT , Boston, Intel and a former Milltown Park Brainwashee.

The idea is to design face-recognition, finger-print recognition and other biological recognition systems for "more secure" indentification methods. Your posture, the way you stride and you body heat patters and later DNA will be loaded onto a strip/chip on you passport, credit card , drivers licence or unremovable wrist or neck bands . They put an experimental "collar" on the man who was supposed to have spread foot and mouth in England. Nobody complained.

The first change we are promised is a biometric chip in our passport which will carry a great deal of very unique personal biological information . It will not amount to much extra expense as the new biometric passports will be introduced gradually as our old passports expire. This process will begin "very soon" .

The European Biometrics Forum is mostly companies engaged in the development of Biological measuring devices or transferrence of electronic information and telecoms but not all. Some have close links to intelligence services in their home coutries and others are government controlled.

http://www.eubiometricforum.com/about/management_team.htm

The entire operation is controlled by British Military Intellignece from their lair at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

Philip Statham of Communications Electroinic Security Group (CESG) is their representative, so well looked after at our expense by Minister Ahern and our wonderful Secret Service(Military Intelligence) and Garda Secial Branch on his recent visit to Dublin.

CESG declare:
"We are the UK Government's National Technical Authority for Information Awareness, responsible for enabling secure and trusted knowledge sharing to help our customers achieve their business aims."

And they are here in Ireland with the run of all Government data and records on Irish citizens and others living here?

Yes, Phil, we know what your government bosses "aims" are. You come to Ireland to get as much information on Irish citizens as a sleeveen Irish Government will hand up to you, without our permission . Why? So you can plant more bombs in Dublin/ Monaghan? So you can murder more solicitors or bug the phones of anti-war people? So you can watch us because you are just plain paranoid?

What's the point in moving thier watchtowers out of South Armagh if the Minitary Intelligence bastrads are just moving into Dublin Castle and the Phoenix Park again? Or did they ever move out?

Not everyone who exterminated Jews were members of the Nazi party or anti-semites. Therefore if the neutral structural system was in place allowed them to be prosecuted, they must have been guilty.

If you've got nothing to hide, who cares? I'm quite happy to be filmed in public areas and I feel a lot safer as a rsult.

It's only criminal scum who fear this.

was piloted in London by Brent Council in 2000.
It led to a sharp decline in suicides on the London Underground. It was found that intending suicides behave almost the same way, walking up and down the platform from wall to edge and miss on average three trains before they jump close to the tunnel opening.
Anyone living in London is CCTV'd 5000 times on average a day.
CCTV analysis failed to trace and catch the Brixton bomber before he had also bombed Compton St, and the East end. Despite the much vaunted inclusion of MI5 in the investigation.
CCTV coverage infringes privacy and is a serious threat to civil liberty. At the link you will see a photograph of the camera which since 2001 has stood on Plaça George Orwell in Barcelona. It was placed to discourage drug dealing and petty crime on the square which is euphemistically called "plaza trippi". I lived on the adjoining street at number 23 C/Codols for years. I remember that the drug dealers and muggers just moved around the corner out of CCTV sight.
All the residents in that area protested for these and personal libertarian reasons (that type of neighbourhood), but the key motivation in CCTV is the tendering of security contracts. There are employees executives whose mortages are paid by daily labour selling more security systems to shops, cities and local authorities. They sell fear of crime and the warped solution which is CCTV.

As on plaza Orwell "1984" as in London as in Dublin as anywhere.

Analysis of body movement, gait, swagger, is the thin edge of a very worrying body facism. Are we to really believe that the innocent citizen moves in an "innocent" way?

oh and bonus link to photo of me on that square enjoying a coffee with the gifted photographer of the X-files. {I miss you :-) we all do}

of the direct action demonstrations on J18 1999
the only that did not provoke criminal charges and witchhunts and blacklisting and torture and exile were the "bagging" of the CCTV.
what you need:
a ladder
a big black bin bag.
a CCTV camera.

But he was caught after all was'nt he? So we were sucessful?

I remember that the drug dealers and muggers just moved around the corner out of CCTV sight.

So the presence of CCTV did influence their movements?
Does'nt this suggest that CCTV should be covert and therefore invisible to the populace, if they don't know where the cameras are they will not be able to modify their behaviour?
