Enterprise Ireland Backs Irish Companies Operating in Turkey
In reply to... In reply to a question put to her today, the Tanáiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment confirmed that over the last 18 months Enterprise Ireland has provided financial and practical support to 55 Irish companies operating in Turkey.
The Turkish state is a notorious abuser of human rights, especially of the large Kurdish minority. While the Minister refused to identify the companies involved for reasons of 'commercial sensitivity'.
Below is the text of the question. Anyone with information as to the identity of these companies or their projects would be more than welcome to drop me a line.
To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if her Department has given support, financial or otherwise, to Irish companies operating in Turkey; the names of those companies; and the projects they are involved in.
- Seán Crowe.
