Jump To Comment: 3 2 1The Slate don't need to give interviews or hold a press conference.. all they need to do is put out a statement to TV, radio and print media asking if Ireland's senior cops are the thickest on the planet. If they can't recognise satire perhaps they should take early retirement before they start investigating RTE for showing Tom and Jerry cartoons.
Afterall, we all know that they are a subversive and criminal call to drop grand pianos on passersby!
If he/she has any respect for their own work as a writer, the author of the piece in question should clarify to the powers that be the satirical nature of the article.
