Critical Mass tonight at 6pm - supporting Dominick Street residents

Tonight in Dublin's fair city, where the girls are so pretty...

Calling all velos! The first Critical Mass of the summer starts this evening (Friday May 30th).

We'll be gathering like midges at the Garden of Remembrance at Parnell Square at 6pm. Go to the top of O'Connell Street and just keep on going north, you'll find us.

The Critical Mass will be heading to nearby Dominick Street for a direct action to slow the cars down to a crawl. The residents of this street have recently been involved in a campaign to get traffic calming measures installed, to stop their kids getting knocked down.

Critical Mass supports their efforts and wishes them the best.

Bring along whistles, horns, anything that makes NOISE or COLOUR to show that non-motorised transport is the way forward. Shake your ass for the Critical Mass.

La velo, douze points! L'auto, nul points!

What are you talking about you hippy fool? Religion won't help! What good is a religious ceremony on wheels to the masses when they could have the leadership of the International Bolshevik Current?

¿is it yawn in Dublin too?
are all the really ·normal· people with cheap travel options in Evian or something?
this means the safety group of the SWM who didn't get the evil bus, will now try and hijack all the @narkisty collectives.
Just ye wait, when the good bus comes back there will be a new RTS, new Food not Bombs, new Critical Mass, new GAW, new indymedia, new FF, new SF all of course SWM fronts.
ah well you get that in summer.
