Latest News on Mary Kelly in Israel

Mary to be deported

After her arrest by the IDF in the Church of the nativity, Mary is to be deported from Israel today. We can not let this mean that no one is watching what is happening.

What difference does it make if one head the ball who likes sucking up to dictators is kicked out of Israel?

Mary Kelly has has rendered humanitarian aid to the victims of the Zionist aggression in the West Bank, her efforts and those of others have helped to some degree to put the spotlight on the war crimes carried out on the West Bank. She is obviously a caring, brave and humane person of whom we in Ireland can be very proud.

well, we have agreed to take one of the militants who were in the church, so they can probably keep each other company....

i honestly thought we had enough maniacs in the country without having to import them

A person who defended himself and his people is not a "maniac", but someone to be respected. The "maniacs" or rather the Zionist criminals who carried out the war crimes are the ones to be despised. I do not know the Palestinian person who will be arriving in Ireland but as far as I am concerned, he is very welcome until the day comes when he can return to a free, secular and democratic Palestine.

People love to bandy these terms around and it is disgusting. This is a problem with the liberal left, they are so relativist that black becomes white and vice versa.

The Israelis have never encourages people to blow themselves up and take as many people with them.

They (and the Palestinian refugees for that matter) have been put in a very difficult position by blood-thirsty terrorists and extremists who use a radical form of Islam to preach a message of hate.

Let's get real here. The day people can't tell the difference from good and evil is the day we're all up the spout.v

with so many poblems at home do you think all these do gooders could stay home and solve some of OUR problems instead of sticking their noses in where they only cause trouble . If an Irish Catholic wants to help abroad surely she should be concerned by the fact that Christians are being forced out by the Arab Muslims in Bethlehem
The number of Christains there has gone down from 80 % to 20 % since Arafarts PLO were given the town to run after Oslo 1993 . The PLO gangs terrorise the local population and by the way did you see the mess this crowd of hoodlums left in the sacred church and the bombs and arms !

Find a real cause Mary . BTW wheres the other MARY ? [Robinson ] should nt she be worried about the bruised heads in Dublin and the human rights of Dubliners ?

Dont worry if Mary Kelly can not tell us any more whats going on -she didnt seem to have seen much anyway .
But the BBC still has St Orla on the spot to give us her Arab husband's view of things so dont worry Mary we can get you back to stand as an MEP and confront M Le Pen in Europe --now that is a cause to fight !!
Mary Kelly has not been able to tell us so far who shot their way in to the church and who made all the mess . Surely if the Bethlehem 13 knew there were leaving for Jaysus sake could nt they have cleaned the place up first !
By the way what do you think about the Renault 7 --just as guilty as the Bethlehem 13 .

There won't be any journalists on the spot to cover the situation. It may eventually dawn on the most fervent Zionist supporter that journalists who are tear gassed and have stun grenades used against them make get the idea that the Zionist army do not want witnesses. They closed to area to the press, refused to co-operate with a limited and flawed "fact finding" mission with the assistance of their friends in Washington. "Terrorism" or the limited definition used by Bush means that only the actions of "rogue states" or former friends like Osama Bin Laden, have the term applied to them. Of course the Zionists who have breached the provisions of the fourthe Geneva Convention are not. The double standards and hypocrisy are truly mind boggling.

I use the term "Racist" because for example only Jews are allowed to become citizens, the native Palestinian population were ethnically cleansed and those remaining are discriminated just like the South African racists discriminated against the majority population, when they were in power.
The Boers incidentally, were on very good terms with Tel Aviv, by your friends shall you know them. Particularly ironic given the pro nazi views of the S.A. national party during WW2.

The comment re the partner of Orla Guerin speaks for itself. As for clearing up the mess, the "army", murderers of the elderly, women and children, created a far bigger mess and left without cleaning it up, except for a lot of the evidence.

Interesting similarities between the comments of 'Proinsias' and 'Dave'! What's worrying is that it looks like it took him a whole 11 minutes to produce his second treatise.

author by Jamespublication date Wed May 15, 2002 03:02author address author phone Report this post to the editors

The following article by Bennett M. Epstein says something about Ireland and its agreement to welcome Mary Kelly's 'friends'.

The "not in my back yard" maneuvering being played out with respect to the thirteen remaining Palestinians holed up in the Church of the Nativity is quite enlightening. Italy has officially said that it is afraid of them. Spain, which hopped right on the Jenin "massacre" bandwagon, doesn't want them, either. The Europeans, who rarely pass up an opportunity to blame Palestinian terrorism on Israel are now falling all over themselves to find clauses in their immigration laws which prohibit their acceptance. Appeasement is apparently fine when those being killed are Jews, but potential of terrorists in the Tivoli Gardens is quite another thing.
Even the governments of Jordan and Egypt have refused to give refuge to these brethren, the fighters that they routinely praise as heroic, and the Saudis, whose generosity to the cause of martyrdom is now legendary, haven't held so much as one little telethon to build these living martyrs each a villa outside Riyadh.

What is at play is a classic example of European smugness and anti-semitism. When threatening the existence of Israel, these are "freedom fighters" and the poor desperate victims of occupation. But allow them into their own neighborhood, even for the sake of saving the church? Mon Dieu, they are thugs and murderers, not worthy of so much as a tourist visa. The Scandinavians also have enough Arabs, thank you very much.

The sudden lack of Arab hospitality is not so sudden. It is derived from nothing less than the same combined hatred of Israel that causes the refugee camps to still exist generations after the "refugees" were created. To countries like Egypt and Jordan, accepting the "nativity thirteen" would be like inviting a pack of wolves to the family picnic. Mubarak would clearly prefer they go to Gaza and maybe they will chew through the fence, hopefully not anywhere near the Rafah crossing.

Once they are accepted somewhere, which they are bound to be after the U.S. pays a reverse ransom in aid to a "host" country or countries, what will be most interesting will be the "where are they now" segment on Al Jazeera in about 10 years. How many years, months or even hours will they remain in the charming cities of Europe? Who will use the opportunity to live a normal life or further an education? And, as Jews recite on Yom Kippur, who will come to a timely end, and who to an untimely one?

author by Oliver O'Driscollpublication date Wed May 15, 2002 22:53author address author phone Report this post to the editors

I do not dispute that various Arab governments have not done enough to assist the Palestinian people. As to the reference to Yom Kippur, I don't have much knowledge of the Jewish faith, but I can say that a lot of Palestinian people in Jenin and other population centres came to an untimely end after the IDF arrivied.
